DHAKA:  Unlike previous years, visitors need not worry about food at Dhaka International Trade Fair this year, because popular frozen food brand ‘Jhatpot’ is available there offering healthy food at a discount. 

Grabbing some healthy food is always a matter of concern for the visitors at DITF.

Jhatpot, in its general pavilion no 12, is displaying chicken biryani, paratha, singara, samosa, spring roll, chicken nugget, chicken sausages, tandoori nan, French fries, puri, popcorn and numerous tasty foods.

Besides, Jhatpot is offering discount of minimum Taka 10 to up to Taka120 to the customers.

Anisul Islam, Brand Manager of Jhatpot, said, “People are used to going restaurant for purchasing tasty food like paratha, singara, samosa and chicken nugget. But this trend is changing day by day. The ready-made food products are now available in packet.”

“We are offering healthy chicken biryani only at Taka 150. Therefore, we have arranged good environment to eat food in our pavilion,” he added.

Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director of PRAN-RFL Group, said, “Customers always consider health issue for purchasing tasty food. Jhatpot frozen foods are free from tasting salt and harmful preservatives. For the reason, we got BRC and ISO standards to comply with compliances.”

He also said, “We are getting good response from the customers. Jhatpot is doing well not only in local market but also in some others countries including United States, Australia, UK, Italy, New Zealand and Singapore.”
