DHAKA: The government has decided to extend the duration of Dhaka International Trade Fair, 2019 by one day. Official announcement will come one or two days later.

The decision was taken on Sunday (Feb 3) in a meeting between commerce minister and Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) in response to the request made by businessmen, an official of commerce ministry told Banglanews. 

Earlier, businessmen participating at the fair proposed an extension for one more day to end February 9 (Saturday) instead of February 8 as Saturday is the weekly holiday.

Last year, the Dhaka International Trade Fair was extended by four days following the demand of participating businessmen and visitors.
