DHAKA: As many as 40,000 entrepreneurs owning microenterprises were granted around Tk 400 crore loan from Asian Development Bank (ADB).

They will be distributed the loan under a project titled “Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF)”.

Economic Relations Division Secretary Monowar Ahmed and ADB Country Director Manmohan Prakash signed an agreement at NEC-2 Conference Room in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, in this regard, Wednesday (Feb 6).

As per the agreement, women entrepreneurs will get 70 percent of the total loan at 12 percent interest rate.
