DHAKA: Three companies of RFL Group received highest VAT payer’s award for paying the highest amount of VAT at 24th Dhaka International Trade Fair-DITF-2019.

Md. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, Chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), handed over the awards at the conference room of the NBR on Tuesday (February 26).

Choudhury Atiur Rasul, director (Accounts) of PRAN-RFL Group, received the awards on behalf of the three companies.

Three companies of RFL Group are – RFL Electronics Limited, Durable Plastic Limited and Rangpur Metal Industries Limited.

Atiur Rasul said, “It is a matter of pride that we received three prizes among ten. This recognition will play stronger role to move PRAN-RFL Group forward in future.”

This year, 10 companies received highest VAT payer’s award for DITF-2019.

Sheikh Fazle Fahim, Senior Vice President of FBCCI, Bijoy Bhattacharjee, Vice-Chairman of Export Promotion Bureau and Shahnaj Parveen, Member (VAT implementation and IT) of NBR, were also present at the function.
