DHAKA: Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal expressed hopes about the imminent success to the capital market.

“Country’s economy cannot be considered by putting aside the capital market. The capital market has a significant role in economic development of the country,” the minister said on Thursday (March 28).

The minister was speaking to an inaugurating ceremony of a conference of investors and entrepreneurs at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital.

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) organized the event as a part of investment education.

AHM Mustafa Kamal said, “Have faith in government, country. None of us can deceive us-we’ll surely win.”

BSEC Chairman M Khairul Hossen presided over the meeting while secretary of finance department Asadul Islam spoke as a chief guest.
