DHAKA: Bangladesh Bank (BB) directed the authorities concerned not to realize regular installments of all agriculture, fisheries and livestock loans in the areas affected in recent floods.

Moreover, the central bank asked the authorities to issue new loans there, vowing to help farmers surpassing the loss in the floods and keeping farming activities unhindered. 

BB agriculture loan division sent copies of a notice to the chief executive officers (CEOs) of all the schedule banks, in this regard.
