DHAKA:  Business Leaders' Carnival-2019 is going to start with the aims to encourage young generation to do business, develop their thinking and solve problems of new business.

The carnival will be held at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka on 14 September.

The Business Leaders Carnival-2019 is jointly organized by the Society for Leadership Skills Development (SLSD) and An Affairs.

The organizers of the carnival held a press conference at the National Press Club on Thursday (July 25).

At the press conference, founding President and CEO of SLSD Prof Moin Uddin Chowdhury and CEO of An Affairs Kazi Farhin Al Nafis outlined motives of the carnival. 

The carnival has five goals -expand business knowledge through networks and entertaining education, encourage women leadership in business, create creativity in business leadership of next generation, make the business community more aware of corporate social responsibility in the correct way and prepare the business community of Bangladesh to face the fourth or the fifth industrial revolution.

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Atiqul Islam will grace the event as guest of honour, Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury as chief guest of inaugural ceremony, and Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi will be the chief guest of the closing ceremony, organizers said.
