DHAKA: Bashundhara Group (BG) Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan was given Estate Awards in India for his outstanding contribution to Bangladesh's real state sector.

He received the award under International category.  

RE/MAX Global Alliance Senior Vice President Mike Reagan handed over him the award at a ceremony held in JW Marriott Hotel, Delhi Wednesday (August 21) night.

The BG chairman was regarded as 'Business Leader of the Year in Real Estate, Bangladesh'.

RE/MAX India, Franchise India magazine and Television Zee Business issue the award.

In his reaction, Ahmed Akbar Sobhan hailed Bangladesh-India friendship and credited Bangladesh government and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for all-out support to BG's efforts in ensuring accommodation for all.
