DHAKA: Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) is set to hold meeting with stakeholders in the capital city on Thursday (September 5) afternoon to discuss ongoing stock market situation. 

The meeting will be held at its office in city’s Agargaon area at 3:30 pm, according to the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and BSEC sources.

The meeting will discuss the amendments to rules of the securities and exchange and the prevailing market situation.

Besides the BSEC, the leaders of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) and DSE Brokers Association of Bangladesh (DBA) will attend the meeting among the stakeholders.

Stakeholders have already submitted their proposals regarding the amendments to rules of the securities and exchange.
