DHAKA: The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has asked all banks to provide information on wealth under the accounts held by Ghotok (matchmaker) Pakhi Bhai.

Pakhi Bhai is the owner of marriage media Ghotok Pakhi Bhai Private Limited.

NBR sources said on Monday (October 28) that they had sent letters to all the banks, asking for detailed information regarding all types of fixed deposit receipts (FDR), investments and wealth, kept in the vaults by Ghotok Pakhi Bhai, within seven working days.  

Since the inception corrective drives, bank information of some of the accused was sought as well as bank accounts were seized.
