JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: Jahangirnagar University Teachers Association (JUTA) withdrew their strike following the directives of Chancellor of the university President Abdul Hamid.  

The general secretary of the association Professor M Sharif Uddin came up with the postponement at a press briefing at Social Science Faculty in the afternoon.

JUTA also thanked Chancellor for his concern over ongoing dreadlock in academic activities of the university.

Meanwhile, regular academic activities resumed after the announcement.
