Educational institutions, which remained closed due to the recent heatwave, reopened on Sunday (June 11). 

All classes of primary, secondary schools and madrasas will be held as per rules from today.

All secondary schools and colleges across the country were remaining closed till June 8 due to the ongoing heatwave.

Earlier on June 7, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) issued an order in this regard. 

Besides, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education also announced the closure of all government primary schools due to the same reason.
