PSC 98.58%,Ebtedayee 95.8% passed

DHAKA: The results of Primary Education Terminal and Ebtedayee examinations were published Monday with average pass rates- 98.58 and 95.80 percents--respectively.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence, Ganabhaban, at about 9:45 am.

A total of 2,40,961 students of PSC and 7,253 of Ebtedayee got  highest grade point GPA-5 this year.

A total of 24, 83,142 students passed the PSC examinations while 2,62,472 students passed in Ebtedayee examinations.

A total of 73,600 schools have secured cent percent pass in the PSC while 7,200 madrasas in Ebtedayee.
