DHAKA: Admission test of honours first year for the session 2013-14 in Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) will take place on Friday.

The authorities of the university made the disclosure in a press release on Thursday.

The news release said the examinations will start at 3:30pm. Some 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

It added that the merit list will be prepared based on the addition of eight times of GPA of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and 12 times of GPA of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with 100 marks of written test.

The results will be published on January 26 and admission from the main merit list will be on January 28 and 29 and the classes will start on February 5, the release added.

Some 15,950 admission seekers will take part in the exam against 500 seats in three faculties of the university this year.
