Over 1.4 million students were registered for this year's HSC exams across nine general, technical, and madrasa boards.

The HSC exams started on June 30 but were disrupted by the quota reform protests. The remaining exams were postponed after the fall of the Hasina-led government, and rescheduled for September 11. However, on August 20, the remaining exams were cancelled due to protests.

This year’s results were calculated using subject mapping, with marks for six cancelled exams determined based on students' previous Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results.
