DHAKA: Thousands of students of Jagannath University (JnU) put blockade on roads demanding freeing the occupied Tibet Hall of the varsity.

According to their pre-scheduled program, protesting students took position on road in front of the campus at around 11:00am.

Later, they marched toward Dhaka Roy Saheb Bazar intersection with slogans and took position that halted vehicle movement totally.

On the other hand, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid is participating in a program at Kabi Nazrul Islam College.

The agitated students said that they would besiege the motorcade of the minister when it came out of the college campus.
