DHAKA UNIVERSITY: The first year admission procedure of Dhaka University under the session of 2014-2015 began Thursday afternoon.

The last date for submission of application forms has been fixed at 2:00pm on August 31.

Vice-chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Sidique inaugurated the admission procedure organizing a press conference at DU central admission office around 2:30pm.

Application Eligibility:

For ‘Ka’ unit, admission seekers have to have GPA 8 in total point (SSC+HSC) without fourth subject, for ‘Kha’, they need total GPA 7 and for ‘Ga’ (Commerce) unit GPA 7.5 point is required. 

The candidates who will change the group can appear in the admission test in ‘Gha’ unit after following the terms.

The candidates will not be allowed calculator in the admission test. 

The candidates can apply through online and all information about the circular could be found in university website, www.du.ac.bd.

The fee of the application has been fixed Tk 320, which could be paid in all branches of Sonali Bank, Rupali Bank, Agrani Bank and Janata Bank.

‘Ka’ Unit (Science) admission test will be held on September 12 (Friday) at 10:00am and ‘Kha’ unit (Humanities) admission test will held on September 19 (Friday) at 10:00am.

Besides, ‘Ga’ unit (Business Studies) admission test will be held on September 5 (Friday) at 10:00am.

‘Gha’ Unit (subject change) admission test will be held on September 26 (Friday) at 10:00am.

‘Cha’ Unit (Fine Arts) admission test will be held on September 13 (Saturday) (practical at 10:00am and general knowledge at 12:00 noon).
