DHAKA: Independent University Bangladesh (IUB) is set to organize Institute of Engineering and Electronic Engineering (IEEE) day-2014 on October 16 in a bid to make students interested in engineering.

IUB student wing of IEEE, Women in Engineering and IEEE Bangladesh will jointly organize the day.

The day will start through a rally. Later, the seminars on various subjects including Hardware & Software projects made by students will be show cased in the function.

The organizers also have organized quiz to test the intellect of students.

IUB Vice Chancellor Professor Omar Rahman will inaugurate the day at 9:15am on October 16.

IEEE Bangladesh Head Professor Pran Kanai Saha will be present in the program as special guest.
