PSC, JSC, JDC results out

DHAKA: The results of Primary School Certificate (PSC) and its equivalent examinations, Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations were published on Tuesday.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the copies of JSC and JDC examination results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Gano Bhaban around 9:00am.

Later, Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman handed over the results of Primary and Ebtedai (Madrasa) terminal examinations to the premier.

This year 89.85 percent students have passed in JSC and 93.50 percent in JDC examinations. Some 156,235 students achieved GPA-5.

On the other hand, 97.92 percent students have passed in PSC and 95.98 percent in Ebtedayee examinations. Some 236,431 students got GPA-5 in PSC examinations whereas 6,541 students got GPA 5 in Ebtedayee examinations. 

Education Secretary Nazrul Islam Khan along with chairmen of the education boards also were present here.

Later, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the ‘Boi Utsab’, free book distribution, handing over books among a few students of Class I to Class IX.

The Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid published the results of JSC and JDC examinations formally in a press conference at 11:00am.

Later, Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman  held a press conference around 12:30pm, unveiling the results, said public relations officer of the ministry Rabindranath Roy.

Following the press conferences, results of JSC and JDC examinations are available on, www.educationboardresults.gov.bd, the website of the education board while results of PSC and equivalent examinations will be available on, www.dpe.gov.bd, or http://dpe.teletalk.com.bd, websites.

Besides, the students can get their results through mobile SMS.

For the results of PSC, students have to write DPE<>Thana/Upazila Code<>Roll Number<>2014 and sent to 16222 number from any mobile operator.

For the results of Ebtedayee, EBT<>Thana/Upazila Code<>Roll Number<>2014 and sent to 16222 number.

For JSC/JDC results, JSC/JDC<>first three letters of board name<>Roll Number<>2014 to 16222 number.
