DHAKA: The education ministry will finally decide on February 1 whether the SSC examinations will be deferred or not following a 72-hour nationwide shutdown enforced by BNP-led 20-party alliance.

Education secretary Nazrul Islam Khan came up with the development while talking to banglanews on Friday evening.

Banglanews asked him to know about government’s decision to hold the examinations due time.

The secretary went on saying that they are awaiting so that BNP and its alliance will make any further announcement considering the examinations.
