DHAKA: Bangla Academy, the national institute of arts and literatures, earned more than one crore taka by selling books during first three weeks of February during ongoing Amar Ekushey Book Fair.

Bangla Academy earned a total of Tk 1,03,26,950.

Public Relations Department of the academy made the disclosure at a press conference Sunday evening.

However, Bangla Academy earned Tk 57.66 lakh by the first half of the month.
