DHAKA: University Grants Commission (UGC) directs all private and public universities of the country to continue classes and examinations during hartal-blockade.

UGC took the decision after a view exchange meeting with vice chancellors of different universities at UGC auditorium on Sunday.

A press release of UGC Additional Director Shamsul Arefin made the disclosure.

The statement said UGC wants to bring back normal academic atmosphere in the educational institutions.
