DHAKA: Suhrawardy Medical College has been closed for indefinite period after clash of two groups of students on its campus.

The college authorities Sunday asked students to vacate residential halls by 4:00pm today.

Confirming the matter, Tejgaon zone additional deputy police commissioner Ohidul Islam told banglanews that two groups of students locked into sporadic clashes between 12:30pm and 2:00pm over establishing supremacy on the campus, leaving five students injured.

None was held in this connection, he added.
