DHAKA: Anti-militancy human chains will be arranged on the campuses of all government and private universities across the country on August 1.

The one-hour human chains will begin at 11:00am on the day.

University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Professor Abdul Mannan announced the program at a press conference at UGC auditorium in city on Sunday (July 31).

He said that students of different schools and colleges and members of different socio-cultural organizations can attend the program.

Moreover, education minister Nurul Islam Nahid and other officials concerned will join the human chain, the UGC chairman added.
