7 held over DU admission test fraud

DHAKA UNIVERSITY: Dhaka University (DU) authority on Friday (October 21) detained seven applicants on charge of swindling in the “Ka Unit” admission test examination for the educational session 2016-17.

The applicants were held for using electronic devices illegally during the exam.

They were held from Eden Mohila College centre, Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Siddheswari Girls College, Begum Badrunnesa Government Girls College and Motijheel Ideal School and College centers.

DU acting proctor Professor AM Amzad Ali said three of the detainees were brought to his office. Others will also be brought here, he added.
