SATKHIRA: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a young man who allegedly taking money from students and guardians alluring them for leaked question papers of upcoming SSC exams on Tuesday (Jan 29) night.

A team of the elite force picked Ishtiak Hossian Ahmed Yakub, 18, son of Nurul Alam Nantu of Rajpara thana in Rajshahi city, up from Satkhira stadium area, said Lt Commander AMM Jahudul Kabir of Rab-6 at a press briefing on Wednesday (Jan 30).

The detainee created a facebook group named ‘sss xm 19k’ to provide leaked question papers. He asked interested people to contact him through messenger and provide them bKash no. 01743853377, the Rab official added. 

Earlier on Saturday, police arrested eight people, including two women and a female student, in connection with their suspected involvement in leaking the question paper of Mathematics exam.

He also told press that he has been selling fake question papers through the facebook group to the interested SSC examinees.  A mobile handset was also seized from his possession.
