BSMRSTU sues 6 suspended students for ragging The six accused.

GOPALGANJ: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science & Technology University (BSMRSTU) authority filed a case accusing six of its students suspended earlier for life over ragging two fellow students.

BSMRSTU Assistant Proctor Agriculture Department Assistant Professor Dr Nazmul Huq, as a plaintiff, filed the case under Digital Security Act with Gopalganj Sadar Police Station Tuesday (Feb 5) night.

BSMRSTU Proctor English Department Assistant Professor Md Ashikuzzaman Bhuiyan confirmed the matter to Banglanews Wednesday (Feb 6) noon.

The accused are-- Shipon Ahmed, Shahin Mia, Hridoy Kumar Dhar, Turjo Howlader, Nadim Islam and Ashikuzzaman Khan Limon.

They ragged two first-year students of Agriculture department—Md Rajesh Hossain Shithil and Mahmudul Hasan, in a mess near the campus on Jan 2.

They also filmed the scene of humiliating the duo which later went viral on social media.
