CHITTAGONG: Chittagong University of Science and Technology (USTC) authorities declared the varsity closed sine die after a fierce clash.

The authorities concerned of the university took the decision in an emergency meeting on Wednesday afternoon.

Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) AHM Ishaq Chowdhury confirmed the matter to banglanews.

However, all scheduled examinations will be held due time, he added.

Earlier in the day, two students group of USTC and Bangabandhu Memorial Hospital locked into to the fierce clash, leaving one student injured critically.
