Spelling mistakes in CU exam paper! A copy of the question paper.

CHATTOGRAM: As many as 10 spelling mistakes were found in the question paper for 4th year honors final test of political science department of Chattogram University (CU).  

The misspelled Bangla words include Chattogram, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, Bisleshon (analyze), Songskarok (reformer), Kormokando (activities), Communist etc. 

The words ‘Chattogram’, ‘Bangabandhu’, ‘Mujibur’ and ‘Huseyn’ were misspelled as ‘Chatrogram’, ‘Bangbandhu’, ‘Mujibor’ and ‘Hossain’.

The exam of course no.405 took place with the erroneous question paper on Monday (April 16). 

The question paper was even handwritten instead of composed format.

Contacted, CU Examination Committee Chairman Prof Dr Bhuiyan Md Monwar Kabir denied to commenting. 

Political science department chairman Prof Dr Muhammad Yahya Akter said he wasn’t aware about the question paper.

He said he will look into the matter.

“The matter of spelling mistakes will be investigated,” said CU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury.
