DHAKA UNIVERSITY: Dhaka University (DU) on Tuesday (August 6) handed temporary expulsion to 69 of its students on charge of cheating in the honors entry tests. 

The decision came from a meeting of the varsity's disciplinary council, chaired by Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman.  

The expelled students were admitted to DU in separate session since 2012-2013 to 2017-2018 sessions.

They have to reply show-caused notice to be served by the varsity authorities.
