Government secondary schools across the country are set to start the process of taking online admission applications from Dec 15.

It will continue on till 5 pm on December 27 online (https://gsa.teletalk.com.bd).

Besides, the students will get chance through online lottery on December 30, according to a notification issued by the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education.

Due to coronavirus pandemic, the schools will take admission through lottery this year, instead of taking admission test.

A total of 44 government secondary schools in Dhaka will be divided into three groups. The applicants can choose a maximum of five schools in their order of preference from each group. Previously, students got to choose only one school in a group.

Students across the country will receive a Thana-based list of educational institutions at the time of applying.

Students are asked to pay a fee of Tk 110 each through SMS using Teletalk's pre-paid connection to apply for the admission.
