The written examination for Sylhet district's primary assistant teacher recruitment -2020 has been rescheduled.

The public relations officer of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Mahbubur Rahman Tuhin said that the recruitment test has been postponed due to flood.

The test will be held on June 3, depending on the flood situation, Tuhin added.

According to the ministry, 45,000 assistant teachers will be recruited across the country. 

13 lakh 9 thousand 461 candidates have applied against these posts. As such, 29 candidates are fighting for each post.

The written test of the first phase will be held on April 22, the second and third phase will be held on May 20 and June 3 from 10:30 am to 12 noon in different districts.
