June 25 SSC exam rescheduled to June 24 for Padma Bridge opening 

The government has decided to reschedule the SSC exam dated June 25 to June 24 as it coincides with the inauguration of the long-awaited Padma Bridge.

Education Minister Dipu Moni disclosed the matter in a press briefing held at the Secretariat on Sunday. 

Meanwhile, the SSC and its equivalent examinations for this year will begin on June 19 and will continue until July 17.

All tuition centres across the country will remain closed from Jun 15 to Jul 7 while the SSC exams are held, he said.

Results of the examinations will be published within seven days of the exam, she added.

This year 2.021,868 students will sit for the SSC, Madrasah and Technical examinations. Of the total, 1,599,711 students will sit for the SSC exam, 268,495 will sit for Dakhil exam and 153,662 students will sit for the technical board's examination.
