Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Friday (October 13) hosted a dinner in honour of the artistes and crew of the biopic of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman "Mujib: The Making of a Nation" (Mujib: Ekti Jatir Rupakar).

The premier exchanged pleasantries with the invited guests and inquired of their wellbeing During the dinner at Ganabhaban.

PM's Deputy Press Secretary KM Shakhawat Moon gave the information.

The PM urged those concerned to produce such films in the future so that the new generation can know the history properly.

She directed the concerned people to renovate and reopen the cinema halls, which were shut down in different districts of the country.

Later, the prime minister handed over mementos to the artistes and crew of the film.

The film was released simultaneously in theaters across the country on Friday.

Famous Indian filmmaker Shyam Benegal has directed the film 'Mujib: The Making of a Nation,' depicting the life and political works of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
