The traditional Bangladeshi band 'Souls' celebrates its 50th anniversary on May 4 with rocking performance in Denver of United States.
The tour is organised by Deshi Music & Entertainment.
Members of the band expressed their excitement after the show.
While talking to media Partha Barua leader of the band said, “The city of Denver is surrounded by mountains. Sighting the nature here reminded me of Chattogram. In a word, my feeling is extraordinary.”
He further said, “Bangladeshi audience here enjoyed our performance. We have performed in different parts of the world, but arrangements in Denver are very special for Souls.”
Souls, a Bangladeshi band created after the country's independence, performed for an hour and a half in Denver's ancient downtown. This is the sixth gig of Souls' US tour.
The next day, the Souls performed a concert in Seattle. The audience enjoyed the performance at the event organized by Projonmo Bangladesh.
Partha Barua, Mir Masum, Ahsanur Rahman Ashiq, Maruf Hasan Real and sound engineer Shamim Ahmed are on this tour.
Souls Band previously performed in Miami, Virginia, Los Angeles, Purdue University in Indianapolis and Houston.
