DHAKA: Jessica Simpson is reportedly set to wed on America’s Independence Day.
The singer-turned-fashion mogul will walk down the aisle with sports star fiancé Eric Johnson in Santa Barbara, California over the major US holiday weekend, according to editors at Usmagazine.com, reports contactmusic.com.
The couple had originally planned to exchange vows in a lavish ceremony in Capri, Italy, but decided to throw a more low-key affair on home soil.
Simpson revealed her plans for a 2014 wedding in January, saying, ‘The new year will definitely bring on the wedding bells, which is exciting... I think it’s about time’.
The pair is parents to daughter Maxwell and son Ace. Simpson was previously married to singer Nick Lachey between 2002 and 2006.
