DHAKA: A soiree of noted Indian composer and guitarist Shubh Saran titled ‘The Shubh Saran Presentation’ will be held at Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) in Gulshan of capital on Saturday.

Asian Paints, IRCON and Marico Bangladesh are sponsoring the program, a press release said on Friday.

It said that ‘The Shubh Saran Presentation’ is a contemporary jazz, funk, neo soul, and fusion project led by guitarist and composer, Shubh Saran.

The other members of the group, who are among Delhi’s most prominent musicians, are Rohit Gupta, Pianist; Pranoy Praveen Drummer and Jayant Manchanda, Bass Guitarist. 

The release also said, “The group performs original pieces as well as unique arrangements of well-known tunes.”

Shubh Saran is a Guitarist, composer and music educator who has performed in over five countries around the world including USA, Canada, India, Bangladesh, and Vietnam.

The program, which will start at 6:30pm, is open for all.
