DHAKA: Noted music scholar Dr Saurav Nahar presented classical music in Tangail.

The soiree, organized by local cultural organization ‘Sharaj-Pancham’, was held at Tangail Club auditorium on February 27.

Tangail district council administrator Fazlur Rahman Khan attended the event as chief guest while Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) director Siddhartha Chattapadhaya, Tangail deputy commissioner (DC) Mohammad Mahbub Hossain and Tangail district council chief executive Dr Gazi Mohammad Saifuzzaman as special guests.

It was chaired by the ‘Sharaj-Pancham’ president Narayan Chandra Basak.

Dr Saurav Nahar, also a teacher of IGCC, enthralled the audience by presenting Raag Bageshri.
