DHAKA: Latest Hollywood sci-fi ‘CHAPPIE’ hit Star Cineplex in Bashundhara City Shopping Mall on Panthapath in city.

Dhaka-premiere of movie was held on Thursday evening.

The 3D version of the movie will be screened at 11:00am, 1:45pm, 4:30pm and 7:15pm from Friday onwards.

CHAPPiE, directed by Neill Blomkamp, is based on Blomkamp’s 2004 short film ‘Tetra Vaal’. The film stars Sharlto Copley, Dev Patel, and Hugh Jackman, as well as members of the South African hip-hop group Die Antwoord.

Moreover, the film is set to be released on March 6 in the USA.

CHAPPIE, an experimental robot built and designed to learn and feel, must fight back against forces planning to take him down, says Wikipedia.
