DHAKA: Star Cineplex arranged the premiere show of latest Hollywood movie ‘Minions’ in 3D at Star Zone in Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in city’s Panthapath area.

The show of this animation, comedy and family movie was held on Thursday evening.

The movie will be screened at 10:50am, 12:45pm, 2:45pm and 7:40pm from Friday onwards.

‘Minions’, a 2015 American 3D computer-animated adventure action comedy film, and a prequel/spin-off to the ‘Despicable Me’ franchise, is directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda.

Pierre Coffin (as the Minions), Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, Steve Coogan, and Geoffrey Rush stars in the film, written by Brian Lynch.

‘Minions’ was premiered on June 11 in London, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 10.

The film was first foreshadowed in the ending credits of ‘Despicable Me 2’, where Stuart, Kevin, Bob, three of the Minions, are seen auditioning for the film, reports Wikipedia.
