DHAKA: The second edition of ‘Photo Shanghai’ exhibition will begin at Shanghai Exhibition Centre in Shanghai city of China on September 11.

The organizers hope that the show will bring together both the East and West’s most exciting names from the world of fine art photography.

This year’s fair will offer a highly curated and elegant exhibition of vintage and contemporary masterworks featuring 50 leading international galleries from 20 countries.

It will also showcase the works by the participating photographers for sale.

The participants include Nobuyoshi Araki, Birdhead, Boomoon, Guy Bourdin, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Hsieh Chun-te, Chien-Chi Chang, Elliott Erwitt, Yang Fudong, Candida Höfer and Horst P Horst.

Axel Hüette, André Kertész, Steven Klein, Gustave Le Gray, Feng Mengbo, Daido Moriyama, Vik Muniz, Helmet Newton, Yuki Onodera, Jiang Pengyi, Irving Penn, Herb Ritts, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Zhang Xiao, Fen Yan and Yang Yongliang among many others are also in the list.

Moreover, the organizers will arrange a rare opportunity to listen to and meet with acclaimed photographers from around the world as part of the Talks Programme.

The fair will continue till September 13.
