DHAKA: The logo of 24-hour news oriented TV channel, News24, of East West Media Group (EWMGL) was unveiled at Rajdarshan Hall of the International Convention City, Bashundhara (ICC,B) on Friday (February 19).

Information minister Hasanul Haq Inu, Bashundhara Group chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan, managing director Sayem Sobhan, Bangladesh Pratidin editor Naem Nizam and Kaler Kantha editor Imdadul Haque Milon jointly unveiled the logo at 7:20pm through a colourful program.

Through this, EWMGL, a sister concern of Bashundhara Group, the leading business conglomerate of the country, stepped into the world of electronic media.

The new TV channel starts its journey with slogans like ‘stay by you for 24-hour by bringing latest updates ahead of all’, ‘There is nothing neutral, we are pro-people’, ‘Problems … Potential … Dreams … and News24 will echo your voice’.
