DHAKA: ‘The Modern family’ star Sophia Vergara’s bank account has been bumped by $43 millions in last year making her the highest paid TV performer for the fifth consecutive year.

The numbers meaning she held her sovereignty even among male stars, her last year’s earning is maximum by any one, ever.

According to Forbes, she enjoyed a whooping 66 percent increase in her pay check, that too not from the courtesy of her role in the popular ABC production. Instead, the income bump comes via endorsement and licensing deals, among them a furniture line and a deal with Head and Shoulders.

Kaley Cuoco came second with her $24.5 million tag. However, her earnings came from exclusively from ‘Big Bang Theory’, where the major performers are reportedly charge $1 million per episode.
