DHAKA: Popular TV personality and director Debashish Biswas is all set to release his latest film ‘Chol Palai’ on December 8.

Shipan, Shah Riaz and Tama Mirza are among the major characters of the film.

Glamour sensation Naila Nayem will be seen spreading lustre in the item song.

The story of ‘Chol Palai’ revolves around a love triangle.

“The film has basically been made upon action-thriller genre. But the plot has been constructed beyond the ordinary romantic stories. It has some comedy ligature too”, said Debashish.”

A 3-minute official teaser of the film has been set free on YouTube on Saturday (November 25).

Regarding his new film, the Shoshurbari Jindabad-famed filmmaker said: “Generally, viewers wish that if Debashish Biswas create something; it will definitely be something new. I always accept that challenge and earn success in maximum occasions.”

“People love me. I’m blessed with the tenderness from mass people of the country. Since they have enjoyed my ‘Shoshurbari Zindabad’ and ‘Pather Panchali’(tv show), they have been blessing me flawlessly. That’s my precious achievement and strength”, he added.

However, an extra-large poster of ‘Chol Palai’ has been hanged in the city’s Kakrail area, mostly known as the hub for Dhallywood film productions.

The giant poster measured as 40x12 feet, claimed as the largest ever for Dhakai filmdom, has drew much discussion among the film enthusiasts.

Regarding the poster, Debashish said, “The people associated with film productions in Kakrail area appreciated my efforts for the poster much. It also has contributed to increase the hall numbers for my film”, he added.

Lyricist Sudip Kumar Dip has written the songs while Emon Saha has arranged the music for ‘Chol Palai’. The film has been produced under the banner of Live Technologies.

However, after releasing in Bangladesh on Dec 8, ‘Chol Palai’ will be screened in foreign theaters from Dec 15, added the director.
