DHAKA: Some celebrities are eager to get a jump-start while others reshuffle the ambitious commitments, on occasion of starting the New Year. Moreover, some prefers to be very picky while many others don’t even put faith on the ‘New Year, New Me’ rush.

On the eve of the New Year, 2017 blockbuster film 'Dhaka Attack'-famed actress Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed talked to Banglanews, upon being enquired about her resolutions for 2018.

The rays of the New Year’s sun don’t necessarily influence Nawshaba to set any extravagant pack crammed with rejuvenating to-do’s. The principles she believes in are same for all the life years, as she said.

Rather than gleaning any materialistic life-goal, the actress spoke all about her affinity towards life.

“None can avoid death. It’s natural. But I wish to live here, in this lovely planet, for a prolonged period. It may be--till becoming a bony granny with dozens of grandchildren (smile).”

“And miles to go before I sleep”, she cited the famous Robert Frost line to describe her craving for rejoicing the life.

Nawshaba also talks about how she sees life from liberal perspectives which she adhered in her childhood days.

“I don’t believe in the stubborn dogmatic ways to divide the human beings upon setting the bar of cast creed & colour. All are inhabitants to the same earth we live in”, she said.

“Stepping into a new Gregorian calendar doesn’t mean a lot but nurturing the moral values and carrying the own distinctive style are important”, added the actress.

Nawshaba ended up the conversation mentioning her passion for roaming around the globe: “I love to travel. I want to tour the every corner of the world if I can. No matter wherever the place is—a pastoral Bangladeshi area or the crisis-stricken Syria.”
