DHAKA: Actor-model Nirab Hossain is appearing as a police officer in the silver screen, for the maiden occasion.

He has recently signed a film titled ‘Officer Returns’; where he will be seen pairing up with Annjela Joly. 

For Joly, it is the first time that she is going to share the screen with Nirab.    

‘Officer Returns’ is being directed by Bandhan Biswas. 

“For the first time I’m portraying the character of a police officer. And I will hopefully enjoy it.” 

“The story will take a serious turn while the police department assign me to sway the dismantle situation amid a national crisis. As the story progresses, I met Joly and the dice whirls more”, Nirab gave glimpses of the story while talking to Banglanews Wednesday (February 7). 

Joly will portray the character of a bar dancer. There will be two songs concentrating her.

She expressed high hopes on endeavoring something good while working for the first time with Nirab.

Muharrat (launching ceremony) of the film is scheduled to be held at Jhorna Shooting Spot of FDC, on the evening of February 15. Camera will be opened for the film on mid-March. 

Director Bandhan Biswas he himself has written the story of ‘Officer Returns’ while the film is being produced by Abdul Based. Bandhan is mostly known for his Omar Sany-Racy starring dramatic action film ‘Shunno’.
