DHAKA: Bangladeshi singer-songwriter-composer living in Los Angeles, United States Arzeen Kamal is a familiar name among the expatriates from his country.

Arzeen earned recognition for singing Bangla songs in various US cities—Las Vegas, New York, San Diego and Santa Barbara.

He recently released his single titled ‘Firey Aye-Come Back’ on his self-titled YouTube channel.

What will leave you in wonder is that Arzeen himself has done everything for producing the song. He wrote the lyric, he tuned, he composed and he lent voice to the number.

And what not? Video of the song casted Arzeen. And even the editing was done definitely by him.

The singer usually sings his songs along with Bangla folk hits, before the US audiences.

In 2017, he sang the folk numbers at an event organized by Department of Cultural Affairs, Los Angeles and Promise Zone-LA

Afterwards, he got a call from the musical platform also record label ‘Pink Turban’.

Now Arzeen is waiting to release his new song ‘Prem De’ from there.

He also performed with the Pink Turban crews on occasion of the Bangladesh Day Parade 2018, marking the Independence Day of Bangladesh. Bangladesh Unity Federation of Los Angeles arranged the event.

An alumnus of Jahangirnagar University, Arzeen whole-heartedly is concentrated on Bangla song. He writes, he tunes and he sings.

Bulbul Lalitkala Academy (BAFA) and Altaf Mahmud Sangeet Bidya Niketan trained Arzeen during his growing up in Bangladesh.

Now Pandit Girish Chatterjee is training him Hindustani Classical music in Los Angeles.

Arzeen has high hopes to spread Bangla songs across the world.
