DHAKA: Veteran actor ATM Shamsuzzaman has been kept on life support again at Asgar Ali Hospital in Gendaria of the capital city on Monday (May 6) as his condition further deteriorated.

Saleh Jaman Selim, younger brother of the actor and also Director of Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra, confirmed the matter to Banglanews.

On Friday (May 3), the life support of ATM Shamsuzzaman has been removed as his condition improves. He was quite good for three days. He had able to talk. But doctors forbade him to talk to others sans his wife.

Earlier on Tuesday (April 30) ATM Shamsuzzaman who underwent a gallbladder surgery on April 27 has been kept on life support. 

He was then moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

"He is suffering from breathing difficulties," Selim said.

He has been kept on life support due to deterioration of his condition, added Selim.
