Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital yesterday, after complaining of breathlessness. 

Soon after his admission, the actor took to his social media handle and announced about he tested negative for COVID-19 and that he will be home soon. 

“Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings (sic),” Dutt tweeted.

Now, as per the latest report, a relative has said that the actor has no serious symptoms and that he is well. Sanjay Dutt has been hospitalised for some routine tests and will be back home after they are done.

Reports claim that the star had fluctuating oxygen saturation levels and complained of chest discomfort. In a statement to ANI, the hospital authorities said, "His COVID-19 report is negative but he is still there for some time just for medical observation. 

He is perfectly fine." While under observation, it has been reported that the doctors have ordered a few tests, for which they are awaiting the results.

Meanwhile, wife Maanayata and children, Shahraan and Iqra, have been in Dubai since March, before the lockdown began. However, they are in constant touch with the actor.
