Bangla Academy Director General Habibullah Sirajee was laid to eternal rest at Azimpur Graveyard in the capital on Tuesday morning.

He was buried around 11:30am after second namaz-e-janaza.

Habibullah Sirajee's body was taken to the Bangla Academy premises from Bangladesh Specialised Hospital around 10am for all to pay their last respect following the health guidelines. 

His first janaza was held there.

The Ekushey Padak-winning poet breathed his last on Monday at the hospital while underwent treatment there.
